So my friends ask me, "Why write a photogallery"?
Heck, there are a million free web sites where you can upload and share photos on the internet.

Below are a few reasons why I wrote a photogallery...

• My Mom is the number one reason. She's always telling me that she never gets to see the photos I take.
• Because I can! Can you? Yeah, .net photogallery code is all over the web but YOU put it all together and make it work!
• No limits! I set the photogallery up to take a max filesize of 50 megabytes! Go try that on myspace...
• Thumbs! I coded the thumbnail creation routine to create super-high quality thumbnails just for the hell of it.
• The photogallery is a prelude to another site I am working on.
• Most of my photos have been taken with my Canon XSI and the pictures are over 4000 x 2000 pixels wide and I hate resizing photos.
• Go brain go!!! I never pass up an opportunity to learn - sometimes you have to create your own opportunities in life. Call me a nerd but the only books I have any desire to read are softwae engineering books. Sometimes I read a little about networking...
